Gold came off in 8 days
I had to take them out of my daughter's ears after 8 days. She had her ears pierced with real 24 carat gold at the pediatrician's. We were told to replace the piercing earrings after 6 weeks. 8 days after using them (and we cleaned them with doctor's ear wipes) both earring holes were red and the backs of their ears were swollen. In addition, the gilding has almost completely worn away. I put on real gold earrings and now they are fine. I would not use them on new ears, sensitive skin or if you want the golden color to last.
