This type of crockery is lightweight and very easy to clean with hot soapy water and a sponge. They're easy to store and take with you when you're ready to use them. They also do well in the dishwasher. They are great for everyday meals. If I want to make a special dish that calls for tomato sauce, turmeric, or something similar, I have other dishes I can use. But this cookware set is exactly what I wanted for everyday use. I serve many wonderful meals and snacks with this wheat straw dinnerware set. I am very happy with my purchase!
