Review on ⌚️ Stylish Timex Men's Weekender 40mm Watch: Versatile and Timeless Design by Lauren Smith

Almost what I was looking for.

I like simplicity in something mechanical. In my opinion, the fewer moving parts the better, and date watches annoy me because I'm never sure if the date is set correctly or not. It is very difficult to find a watch without a date. Overall I was happy with this watch, but I find very few things that are perfect. I chose this color combination because I liked the colors, but I feel like the minute and hour hands don't stand out well enough against the dial. It's a little hard to read in low light. Easy to read in direct sunlight. I think the minute and hour hands could have been a bit more contrasting in color. Pressing the indigo makes the arrows easy to read, but just a quick glance in the dim light makes them difficult to read quickly. The second hand is lighter in color and easier to read in low light. The strap is a bit flimsy in my opinion, but it's too early to say how well the watch strap will wear. I also ordered one of the nato nylon straps but I think the leather strap looks better so I will use it until it wears out. The face is big enough to read well. It's fairly thin and light, so I don't feel like it's dangling on my wrist like some heavier watches do. I'm glad it has mineral glass instead of acrylic which makes it a bit more scratch resistant. In my opinion, to be perfect it should be water resistant to a depth of 50m instead of 30m. The minute/hour hands should be a bit lighter to give more contrast to the dial. And I wish there was a screwable battery cover on the back so I could change the batteries myself. Needless to say, I doubt I'll ever stumble across what I consider to be the perfect watch. By then it's probably as close as possible.
