A year ago I had an operation on my spine. My entire spine is now fused and it has been a real adjustment. I can't lie in bed and read like I used to. You must sit up straight and lean on the cushions. I can put my Kindle on my knees for a while, but I can't do it for long. Instead, my shoulders and neck hurt when I held my Kindle. Then I found Flippy. I have a smaller one and it's perfect. My legs are straight, my back and neck are comfortably supported by pillows, and I lay my Kindle at a comfortable angle and read.
