After painting my bedroom I was always on the hunt for a new blanket. I have antique dark wood furniture. The room was stained with greenish-grey sea salt. It gives the room a clean and relaxing color. The woodwork is white, as are the floor-to-ceiling curtains. It was very difficult to find a duvet that would add a softer feel to a room with so much dark wood. Since the color of sea salt depends on the amount of natural light, this made the task difficult. I looked at this quilt but felt that the color might be too strong for brown even on a white background. I read the reviews and some of them mentioned the fact that the color is a shade of green. So I ordered it. I put it on the bed and was so happy with my choice. I have a queen bed but I bought a king bed and it fits either side of the mattress perfectly. King Shams are big and hope they shrink. The duvet is soft and at a good price. COLOR IS BEAUTIFUL.
