Works for about 15 miles about 30 TV channels
I also connected a homemade antenna in parallel with a "splitter" in the opposite direction to my Tablo OTA recorder. Works perfectly. I hope to one day put it in the attic and run the cable in the wall where Cox's cable is now. I also have a smaller $14 WalMart antenna on another TV that's mounted on the wall near the ceiling and it's fine too.
