If you have ever applied a screen protector you know how it works: you clean the screen very well, remove dust and remove it then detach the cover from the glass before trying to position it perfectly over the iPad. The trickiest part is making sure the holes line up perfectly when you lower yourself onto the screen, where it practically attaches. Then smooth out any air bubbles. Here it is disappointed; I managed to smooth out all the bubbles, but one corner of the tread didn't fully adhere to the glass. It's a really good product, it helps minimize glare when I'm using my iPad to view sheet music in a brightly lit room, but I'm just not sure it actually prevents the screen from cracking unless , it sticks to the entire screen. My previous screen protector didn't have this issue, so I don't think it's an anomaly with my iPad.
