I bought these for temporary use to cut up Primal freeze dried nuggets for my cat - this requires a sturdy fork and sharp knife. You have to be very careful with Lonezo forks as the neck and fingers bend easily and seem to break off with every squeeze. The knives are ok although not as sharp as the Glad brand. With meticulous attention, patience, and more time than my cat is willing to wait, Lonezo gets the job done, but if I need more, I'll try a different brand or go back to Glad. Glads are very durable although they include spoons which I don't need. While I don't recommend them when using forks to steady something you're slicing thick or tough, they can be fine for softer foods that are easy to scoop. just be gentle
