I had high hopes for the weighted blanket after seeing the reviews. Unfortunately it didn't work for me. Everything hurts me within hours. The instructions say the effects are like a deep tissue massage so it must have worked all my muscles while I was sleeping. The council also says to wait a week before making a decision. I could only last one night. My older sister asked for a blanket so I paid $37 for shipping to send it to her. Maybe she'll have better experiences. She's a physical therapist, so she understands muscles better than I do. She thought I should have slowly started using it for just a few hours at a time. The blanket itself was luxurious, soft and beautiful. It's just a "weighted" concept that didn't work for me.
