Bought this for my 8 year old daughter when we experienced a freezing cold snap in downtown Minnesota that peaked in the single digits for a week straight. This hat and face mask were amazing! The face cap has 2 buttons on each side, there are also loops on both sides which we used to wrap her ears for a tighter fit. But it's super cute, super soft and has kept my little girl very warm. The only reason for the 4 star rating is that the "arms" around the neck were quite thick, my girlfriend found them more annoying than anything.
