Our 7 year old started wetting the bed after years of not doing so. She has ADHD and SPD. Washing the sheets daily was unbearable. I have bought mattress pads as well as bed protectors which help but still get wet. Bed protectors are great, but they tend to move around at night. In any case, I had to wash the sheets, blankets, and mattress pads every day, along with all of her wet clothes. Pooh! I read the reviews and was worried they wouldn't fit her as she is 7 years old and weighs 70%. She's not heavy, but very muscular. Size L/XL fits her perfectly. I think she weighs about 63 pounds. She wore them all night and last night it was her first accident. Otherwise nothing got wet! Even pants! I bought the TruFit starter pack along with Alvababy carbon insoles (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M16J9LG/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1). The Alvababy pads were completely soaked and TruFit retained all the moisture they held. Aha! They work amazingly together. I bought Alvababy earplugs because I need something natural for my daughter's skin and they are better for the environment. She says they are soft and comfortable. This is a win-win situation. My daughter feels comfortable in it, bedding and clothes stay dry and we are helping to protect our planet.
