I received this today and am sending it back. It feels like a cheap toy. When I opened the battery compartment to insert the batteries, I became concerned because it was obvious how cheaply built this camera was. And I was right to worry. The photos he took were of such poor quality that I think I got a lemon. I have a 7 year old Kodak that takes sharper photos. Despite changing the settings, using a different card and trying my best to get a clear photo, the camera failed. All the photos were either grainy or blurry or over or underexposed and it took FOREVER for the shutter to respond to all settings. The "Auto Smart" setting delivered the worst photos in all lighting conditions. I think the camera I received is defective, but instead of risking it with a new one, I'll spend a little more on a Canon. I just can't get over how cheap Nikon seems to be.
