I bought this 12 volt drill just to test. TL;DR: Waste your money. There are better options, even for simple cheap compact drills. Of course, I started testing this exercise in practice. His cartridge is one of those cheap cartridges that requires two hands and is a pain in the ass to tighten anything. No, not to say that it cannot be used. The top of the drill is very heavy compared to the rest of the drill - it's not. well balanced. In fact, this drill is very heavy overall compared to a drill twice the size. Build quality seems decent, but that's pretty much it. You have to pull hard to get the battery out. The switch is damn cheap. The battery is cheap branded 18650 with a capacity of 1.3 Ah. They heat up under load and cannot deliver enough current. The BMS in this thing is minimal and crowded, so there isn't much room for cooling. This drill bit can't even drill 3 inch screws in hardwood. It is not possible to drill a 1/2 inch hole with a shovel. Taking it apart, the motor is big enough, the switch is ok but cheap, the mosfet has enough cooling. The battery is just incredibly cheap. You can easily buy something better for the same price, or go to your local Walmart and pick up a Hypertough drill for about $25, which is better in every way. Even for a cheap drill, it's not worth it.
