Review on Capshi [2Pack, 6.6Ft] USB to USB Cable - USB 3.0 A to A Male to Male - Compatible with Laptop, Hard Disk, Camera, and More by Frank Harwood

Maybe I'm missing something, I have a Magewell video capture card that plugs into the USB 3.0 port on my PC. Using a short cable with the logo on both ends (SS followed by the USB logo) everything works GREAT. I just wanted a longer cable so the capture card wouldn't hang off the tower on a cable that was too short. Everything went great again. I received the Capshi USB 3.0-USB-USB-SuperSpeed AA-Male-Male [2pack, 6.6ft] cable and NONE of them worked. At first I thought that maybe the first one was defective and I didn't care and gladly swallowed the costs. The second didn't work either. I reconnected my original short USB 3.0 cable and everything worked great again. I'm not an IT pro, but I'm wondering what the chances are that both cables have failed or really aren't USB 3.0 capable. There is a USB logo on the ends of the cable but not "SS". Both scenarios are unacceptable and I'm not worried about the huge headache of replacing or refunding them. Getting lost money and time back is not worth the hassle. Lesson learned.
