I bought this tutu as part of my daughter's first birthday outfit and it was a great complement to a made to measure shirt I bought elsewhere. One thing I liked about this tutu was that it didn't have a "crotch" or "leg hole". It is just an elastic band that is tightened around the child's waist. I think it turned out to be more comfortable for my daughter when she wore it. It also made dressing the squirming toddler easier. However, I believe that it is important to know this detail when purchasing this product; You need to make sure you have some sort of bottom/diaper cover when pairing this with the top. Another thing I liked about this tutu is the soft material it is made of. Most backpacks are made out of hard, scratchy material, but this one felt very soft. My daughter has sensitive skin so I really liked it. One thing to remember is to wash this pack. I put them in the washer and then the dryer along with their regular clothes and the ends of the pack were frayed and a bit sticky. I had to cut and trim a few things to get it looking decent again. I was so mad at myself for not bothering to wash and dry it. I would suggest hand washing the pack then air drying to preserve the quality of this pomegranate. Otherwise I have no complaints! I will be buying different colors for different outfits in the future!
