Review on CLARKS Coconut Cutting Finishing Refined by Monica Johnston

Wood Sealer Starter Kit

I ordered coconut first and got orange in one. I've had a lot of bugs with Revain lately so I've decided to keep it since it's the same brand and all. Then I realized that this has mineral oil, but coconut does not. That's probably why I chose coconut in the first place. Orange is still great. Seems to be good products. I only made my wooden cutting board and some wooden spoons once. It went smoothly, but for the price of this set, which I find quite expensive, I was expecting better tools. The kit included a bristle brush, a foam brush, and a small polishing pad. That's the real reason I spent money on it. I felt it was all that was needed and would be quality. Real oils, soap and cream appear to be of good quality but all of the brushes and pads have lost color with use. Our bristles came out, the foam left black chunks all over the board, and white fluff came off the pad. I would recommend just buying other stuff and finding your own tools.

Pros
  • So far so good
Cons
  • Definitely bad product
