I bought this bathrobe and slippers for my 11 year old grandson for his birthday. He liked it very much. The robe is very silky. It's thick enough to keep you warm. I imagine any thicker robe would lose some of the suppleness, which wouldn't be good because it makes the robe much more attractive and comfortable. I'm tired of my grandson going around naked and shirtless so I bought him a robe and slippers for his birthday on January 15th. As of today, the problem appears to be resolved. He loves the robe!
