Will be using them in our PreK ESE class. You get four sets, which is probably three more than you need if you only have one child. However, having more can be fun. The basic premise is that you match the bee to a hive of the same color but use the bee with wooden tongs. They work quite well and should really help with fine motor skills. Our OT will love them. The aspect of juxtaposition is also pedagogically valuable. You can also stack the beehives on top of each other or use them to practice counting. All is well. Solid wood and decent size. This is the winner.
