Review on LG 27GQ50F B Ultragear Reduction Borderless 165Hz Gaming Monitor - 27GQ50F-B.AUSQ by James Gonzales

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Picture quality is good, but the design doesn't route the cables well.

Ridiculously short power cord, and to make matters worse, it's an AC adapter, so there's no option to just buy a longer power cord or extension cord. The cord is so short that you basically have to have an ugly/bulky power adapter on your desk to get to the power connector. It's even worse when you have two monitors. In addition, the display ports exit directly on the back and not downwards. So you have a bulky cord sticking straight out that doesn't look good open if you have an outward-facing table. It also interferes with the swiveling monitor mounts. A 90 degree cable would probably be better, but a) it's not included; b) blocks other HDMI ports and limits you to 1 input. Also, only 1 short HDMI cable is included, no DisplayPort cable. What I prefer is DisplayPort. So remember to buy in advance.
