Although I've only had this camera for a few days, I'm very happy with it! I wanted to buy a camera that could not only take great photos but also great videos. This camera can do both. The day after I received the camera, I took it to my daughter's game. As you know, flash photography is a big taboo in the theater. In the past, when I tried to shoot without flash, the images were blurry. Not with this camera. I was shooting from a distance and almost all of the photos were very clear regardless of the lighting. I concluded that several blurred images were caused by motion. At that time, I hadn't learned how to shoot in the "Children and Animals" motion mode. When my daughter started singing her only song in the play, I was dying to capture it, so I switched to video mode. I am so impressed with the video. The sound quality was good and the picture quality was phenomenal! The video was very clear, with bright, vibrant colors, in contrast to the grainy videos captured with other cameras. My only complaint is that the camera comes with a very basic "quick start" guide. I had to play around with the camera to figure out where to find it and how to use many of its features. With this camera you can take excellent quality photos and videos with the convenience of a compact camera that is easy to carry. 2 in 1. I am very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend this camera.
