I bought this bag to use at a big convention earlier this month. The crowds there are in the thousands, there is a lot of noise, bustle and bustle so it can be quite easy for someone to steal something from a wallet or regular backpack. I used to carry a crossbody bag over my shoulder at conventions, but carrying essentials, drinks and snacks put a lot of strain on my shoulder and neck. I knew a backpack bag would make it a lot easier to carry my stuff around the convention and I liked that it was an anti-theft style because it took away the worry of someone opening it and stealing something. I was a bit worried about how much space there would be because the main pocket opening looked pretty small, but it had enough space to carry everything I needed without being very bulky. I was able to pack my wallet, a medium-sized makeup bag, hand sanitizer, a 20-ounce water bottle, keys, and a pair of sunglasses in the main compartment, leaving room for more. There is a small zippered pocket in the main compartment, which can be used to store lip balm and a small pill box. There is also a small zipped compartment on each side of the bag where I could stash my snacks. The bag is nylon so if something spills on it or it rains while I'm walking outside it won't get wet. . Overall I am very happy with this bag and will definitely use it for future events.
