After using another cheaper version and my stylus tips getting worn out (about 1 a month) I decided to spend the extra money and try these based on other reviews. Screen clarity is better, but friction on the stylus isn't all that different from the glass screen. Since my iPad is primarily used as a digital note-taking device, I've found that the cheaper iPad allows me to write cleaner and clearer. I prefer to change my pen tips every month and write more clearly.
