LONG REVIEW:Full disclosure, we were offered a gift card for our honest review. While I didn’t appreciate the verbiage hinting that if they didn’t get a 5 star review that I may not get the card, I expect them to honor it regardless as bias in my reviews are NOT for sale.We’ve received two of the orange binoculars since the first one failed. They didn’t ask probing questions and the replacement process was a little unusual (they provided a gift card for the entire value minus a penny), I ordered the the replacement via revain and it was here just as fast as the original.The first one had a failure on the connection to the neck loop resulting a fall to the ground and requiring replacement (the left portion became extremely loose and while still provided stellar viewing, it’s definitely unwieldy for children ).The second one arrived and the kids had lots of fun watching birds, inspecting trees or looking for their friends during hide and seek (I felt that was cheating but I wanted them to run with them). The 8x21 (122M/1000M) magnification bino’s do a great job. Two adjustment tools are available, one in the middle has a small amount of grease that helps protect the metal which I didn’t find TL be a problem. The eyepieces are a little flimsy, I believe due to the right having a focus adjustment, BUT I have yet to have any viewing issues nor have my children. The provided pouch is a bit tight but once you get comfortable with packing them away, it’s not bad, just don’t plan for taking them in and out quickly between viewings.For a children’s level binocular, I think this is a great purchase. I have to be honest since the first one did fail so quickly I have to drop a star for durability and sturdiness, the overall product is a 5 star product for what we’re considering. These are so much better than the junk in gift shops at so many of our State Parks.
