Essentially, Elmer's glue is diluted with water.
First of all, technically speaking, it fulfills the function of a "peeling lock". But basically it's a glue that's more diluted. It also has the familiar smell of Elmer's glue. It takes a few tries to get used to it, but even then the shell isn't perfect. To get a good scrub, you need to apply several layers. I don't think I would recommend it as there seem to be better options. And if it really is just diluted elm glue, you can buy a bottle of elm glue for a much lower price (and it will be much thicker).
