Review on Mario Badescu A.H.A. Botanical Body Cleanser by Heather Morales

I've had acne problems since puberty and would say I have normal/acne-prone skin. I am 22 years old and have tried many acne treatments with no success. I must stress that anyone using this product should be aware that it has a fragrance and that it should be used with caution. If you have sensitive skin you may want to avoid this but as the product is a rinse off product this may be fine. was skeptical. Now I regret it. After the first application I had a slight dryness and itching in the back. It wasn't too bad and came off easily with my CeraVe moisturizer. For the next few weeks I had little to no dryness on my back. However, I have used this product in the shower with a washcloth on my back 2-3 times a week, making sure to keep it moisturized. Every other shower I washed my body with the Dove shower for sensitive skin. Now that my skin seems to have adjusted well to the product, I plan to use it in the shower more often and see if my skin gets even better. As far as the result is concerned, I am very satisfied with my skin. Not all of my back acne has gone away, but it has SIGNIFICANTLY decreased. My skin became smooth for the first time since I was 13 years old. I'm happy and confident. Is this product the Holy Grail? Not necessarily . but for me it started me off on the right foot. When I finish this bottle, I guess I won't buy another one and will see if the AHA body lotion works for me instead. I think I would have had even better results if I'd been drinking water more often and trying to eat cleaner (something I wanted but couldn't!). When I first saw the ingredient list, I grimaced. These ingredients are not the best for you. Personally, I wouldn't plan on using it long-term, but I think it's worth a try for those suffering from acne. Just be careful and moisturize your skin often.
