I really wanted a remote control like that. But I just can't. I got this as a replacement for my Aerb universal remote because while the Aerb is a great concept and gets many things right, it does have a few flaws, the most notable being the weak battery compartment which easily kills the entire remote I buy every few months a new one. I thought Azulle was the answer to my prayers, but I was wrong. The implementation is just weird. I understand they have IR learning for a bunch of buttons, but to use the functions you've learned you have to press the IR learning button to switch modes. However, my old remote control was no problem. If I used a button for IR Learn, I could integrate it with any other button and use them together. With Azulle, when I'm using the NVidia Shield and the navigation programs, I also want to be able to control the volume on my TV. But for that I need to press IR Learning button to switch mode. Then I can control the volume on my TV. But now I can't control my shield anymore. Shield, I need to press the "IR Learn" button again to control my Shield device. But of course I can't control my shield now. But for whom was it a good idea to separate these "modes" where other remote controls have integrated these functions. On my other remotes, my volume buttons learned the TV volume, while my other buttons control my screen, PC, etc. The home button for Azulle also works. Lots of people say it isn't. This does not work by default. You just need to download the app from google play and sideloader. It's not hard and I got the home button working. However, it still doesn't work properly since you can't press the home button. Double-clicking the home button is important for the Nvidia shield because it's used to close apps and exit a program. am. This makes this remote unsuitable for use with a shield. While we can allow it because the remote was not designed SPECIFICALLY for the sign, the first problem, every time you want to use any of the IR functions you've learned about having to switch functions, is just a ridiculous one Implementation I have not seen it on any other remote control I have used except this one. The remote control makes a robust and well-made impression. (That's why I bought it to replace aerb). I liked that it has a microphone and a backlight. But I have to get over that.
