This is a great stool. If you live in an old house, check if it shakes before stepping on it. The wobble may be due to uneven floorboards. mine was. Once I started trying to position it so my legs were straight I was very happy. I'm 5ft 2in and 300lbs. I'm also scared of climbing stairs, but I live alone and my small chair cuts more. It is great. I climb onto it, holding on to the "handle" and it's firmly beneath me. I wouldn't recommend going over the weight limit, but personally I would use it comfortably if I've gained more weight and are going over the 330lb weight limit. Also, I like the color green. The only problem is that it's big. I've had a hard time getting it into the bathroom so I can change the shower head and I'm still trying to find somewhere to store it. If you don't care about the dimensions, it's as wide as some of the doors in my apartment.
