I previously bought a Peerless mount similar to this one. Never had a problem with Peerless. Installing a 40 inch flat screen. Buy this mount to save a few bucks. This mount is very cheap compared to peerless so I understand the price difference. The tilt mechanism is weak and poorly designed, and the mount itself is made of thin, stamped steel. Never trust this flimsy mount on anything but the smallest monitors and flat screens. I think the listed weight far exceeds what this mount is designed to support as my 32" flat screen appears to be rubber mounted and only pulled out a couple of 15" for this mount to be rated for. The cable management hardware is thin plastic and snapped into place when I tried to flip it open to insert the cables. As a previous reviewer noted, there was no spirit level included with the kit and the hex screws provided to adjust the tension of the pivots are too small for the size of the hex fastener used on the mount! If you want your TV or monitor to stay on the wall, spend the extra money and get Peerless.
