Review on πŸ’™ Wireless Bluetooth Over-the-Ear Headset - Sony WHXB900N Noise Cancelling Headphones in Blue (Amazon Exclusive) by Krisha Thakur ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Perfect purchase for me, exactly what I was looking for!

Bought for office work in open space to weed out extraneous noise and conversations. They do their job very well. The conversations of colleagues are no longer disturbing and you can concentrate on work. Initially, I did not plan to use them on the street, but I tried it a couple of times - I liked it. During a walk, 80% of sounds are filtered out, only cars passing very close are heard (if you listen to 40-50%), sirens, beeps and other very loud sounds. If you listen to more than 65%, then almost nothing is heard. Pleased with touch control, it works even if you are wearing gloves. The option of touching the right cup with the palm of your hand is often useful - the noise canceling turns off and you can fully hear the world around you. For example, we went to McDuck, turned off the noise reduction, made an order, and you can enjoy a burger to your favorite music without being distracted by the cries of "Free Cash" :) In the subway, they were also a pleasant surprise. I tried to pass several stations with one noise (without music) - the noise of the metro is certainly audible, but it is not so annoying. But the conversations of passengers are not heard at all. Car noise is no longer audible after 75% volume. But for me personally, it's too loud. They work great in the MCC, closing your eyes you can really relax with them there.

Pros
  • Well assembled, very pleasant to the touch, high-quality plastic, soft leather. I want to wear again and again. Comfortable touch control - really convenient to use. The price-quality ratio is excellent. There is no regret after the purchase, and the feeling of money thrown to the wind, as sometimes happens. On the contrary, there is even a feeling of euphoria from a successful purchase, which I want to share with everyone. It's probably what prompted me to this review :) small pluses: - usb-type c - gives the feeling that you are not buying junk, but a modern device) - the possibility of connecting by wire. Personally, it gives me a guarantee that you can quickly solve the problem of connecting via bluetooth during a working video call. Quite often, air pods, when paired with windows, make brains. For example, when partners, colleagues, or an English teacher are waiting for you, and you are already late . the last thing you want at such moments is to delve into the settings or restart your laptop.
Cons
  • I switched to these headphones after air pods1, because. they lack noise cancellation. 1) Very complex integration with the iPhone. For full-fledged work, you need to install at least 4! applications: - to set up headphones - this is logical, there are no questions; - to listen to music. I didn't understand what it was for. The application has links to application 1, and apple music. There is no possibility to add music; - Next in the settings you are asked if you would like to connect 360 sound? if so, you need to install 2 more Deezer apps, register and subscribe. Refused this option. 2) When setting up the application, 2 people are required !) because you need to take a picture of your ears))) It’s almost impossible to do it yourself, you need a second person to take a picture of you in profile) Well, it’s good that it’s not 3 or 5)) 3) Indeed, the ears sweat a little in them, but you understand this when you take them off. 4) A lot of bass, but this is both a plus and a minus. In general, the advantages significantly overlap all the disadvantages described above. Pain with the setting is one-time. Headphones were required urgently and there was no time to figure it out. My expectations were that they would work right out of the box, but the magic didn't happen. If you have 20 minutes of free time, you can ignore points 1 and 2.

In the subway, 60% power is enough (considering that I like it louder). Good headphones, the equalizer would be more broadband in the application, the LDAC mode is kind of useless marketing

I haven't seen anything better for this price. If it weren't for touch controls, it would be perfect.
