Be careful with the power draw: Check out this review

The device is compact, very light and durable. did; supports total 900mA, which can provide USB 3.0 port; If you have USB 2.0 ports, make sure the sum of all devices connected to this hub is 500mA or less; There is a table listing some common devices, but you can check how much current a device is drawing by opening: Control Panel --> Device Manager --> Universal Serial Bus Controllers --> Select a port or Hub from --> Select from the Food tab". You may have to select a few before you find the one that interests you. When I selected the first "Universal Port", it listed the items associated with the hub: a 100mA wireless mouse receiver and the same for the keyboard receiver.I have a graphics card plugged into a different port and it is showing 500mA by itself.Remember the hub supports 900mA current. If your computer has USB 2.0 ports, ONLY connect devices with up to 500mA current to the hub (I'm using Windows 7, so if you're using a different OS the way you check ports may be different). In my application, I have a laptop on a shelf and the wireless mouse doesn't work well. With the receiver plugged into the hub and the hub "hanging on a 6" cable, the receiver is now 10" closer to the mouse and it works fine. Cons: The product description does not state the total mA supported by this device; only for max. 500 mA (USB 2.0) or max. 900 mA (USB 3.0) would be very appropriate in the purchase description.

Pros
  • Big upgrade: Turn one of your computer's USB ports into four. (This hub is not designed to charge devices.)
Cons
  • Upgradeable
