I wore this to a prom concert and was nervous as I fully expected my head to be so sore at the end of the night. However, when that time came, I almost forgot I was even wearing it! It required a bit of stretching as it is very tight when it arrives. When I went to stretch it for the first time I heard a little pop and got scared thinking I broke it, but I never found out exactly where the noise was coming from. So I started to gradually apply a little tension until it was comfortable to sit on my head. I also wore it around the house 2 days before the show. It worked like a dream and definitely drew attention. A few other girls had tiaras too, but this one stood out from the rest. I highly recommend.
