Charger adapter gets hot. as if something is on fire, and the charger can accidentally just melt or catch fire with a hot fire. Also, the tip of the USB cable will be severely fried when using the adapter. like it could burn you fried. I try to use the charging adapter only in extreme cases. It usually stays tucked away in my laptop bag and I charge my phone with a cable (which is a very good long cable) from the laptop's USB port. I wouldn't use an adapter on a regular basis for fear it might damage your phone in the long run or worse.
