I probably have very oily eyelids and the eye area in general because I can't stand the spillage of mascara. This mascara was a blessing. I suggest making sure the eye area is very dry and free of heavy creams, concealers etc before application. I apply a layer of powder to the eyelids, lashes and under the eyes before application. The brush is straight, but when applying mascara, the eyelashes look very voluminous, long and saturated. Definitely not a natural look but to be honest I like a more dramatic look myself, almost like false lashes. It seems to dry quickly, which is good. Aside from rubbing my eyes and smudging my mascara, I had no under-eye lines that I noticed. This will be difficult to eliminate. I can take it off and put it on but I still notice residue so you might want to invest in an industrial mascara makeup remover. My eyes are prone to sensitive eyes, but I haven't had any stinging or allergies to this mascara. Doesn't leave a big mess when applied like some mascaras. I apply a few coats but one seems to be enough. I'm glad I paid a little more to get this mascara.
