Soft and comfortable, in the photo the model with his hands in his pocket, if he took his hands out the pocket would still fall out and not lie flat like most pants. Not so much for home. If you look at how the fabric fibers stretch, you can understand why they shrink lengthwise (they run vertically in the legs) during the drying cycle. I have a very long inseam, 36 inches, and a size L fits me, but I need to wash very carefully and will probably skip the dryer, air dry, and wash in cold water. Otherwise I'm very happy with it.
