This lip balm is easy to apply, smooth and creamy. I've been using the treat for a few weeks now and have noticed a difference on my lips. They no longer look dry even if I don't apply balm. No more chapped lips and dryness. I think other balms just rub moisture into your lips, while medicated balms actually soak into your lips and help hydrate them. I've never been a huge fan of coconut oil, but the balm changed my mind about it. I love lip balms (and the brand, I have several lip balms), this scent struck me as a bit odd. It smells like grape caramel or soda, but there's also a hint of plastic or something. I can't say for sure, but it's not 100% comfortable like other lip balms I have. I also caught the same pasty flavor from the peaches and cream.
