I've tried these sheets and they work well. The static I still get isn't painful if you touch the metal on the dryer while folding, but some things come out of the dryer that stick together due to static. Dyed sheets still work better, but I haven't found any that are biodegradable/compostable and fragrance-free. I have a lot of skin allergies so I can't use anything to wash with. I think I'll keep looking because I also think a biodegradable/compostable dryer sheet might be better for the environment in the long run. Eventually, after 500 loads of these sheets, the synthetic fabric ends up in a landfill.
