It's great and works as expected. Gamecube ports on the Wii side. The upside is that you don't need to be close to your system to play since each controller goes wireless. However, keep in mind how the Wii works. This will NOT allow you to play Gamecube disc games with a PS2 controller. They MUST be connected to the side ports of the GameCube on the Wii. However, you can play any game purchased in the virtual store in all ports of NES, SNES, Turbografx, etc. Also, you can play Wii games with a PS2 controller instead of a classic Wii controller. So if you have PS2 controllers or prefer the button layout to a classic controller, get this. Special note for the DDR fans, this works with PS2 dance floors and turns them all into wireless dance floors for the Wii versions of DDR!
