As an owner of SFIV TE 1 and 2, I can't recommend this racquet for beginners, but if you want to buy it as an extra racquet when people come, or as a more convenient one Travel stick, it can be good for that. The buttons are too bouncy so it feels like you have to press hard to be accurate in time and the length of the stick itself is longer (why why) requiring wrist or hand movement, to complete the movement may feel delayed. I tried to get back into sci-fi with this stick and I really think it set me back as a gamer. It works fine with a PC though, but for around $100 plus a $10 USB adapter you might as well use old flash drives for a PC.
