Walk the other way: Smartwatch

I'm still considering returning this Garmin 010-02172-31 Vivoactive 4S, Smaller GPS Smartwatch, Features Music, Body energy monitoring, animated workouts, Ox heart rate sensors and more, light gold with a light pink stripe that doesn't seem to even be listed as a product on Revain anymore. did not receive notifications via SMS or email. I don't use it for music. All it does is track my sleep, steps, heart rate/bull and reminds me to exercise multiple times throughout the day. I'm sooooo glad I got it at least on Prime Day and didn't pay $320, but I'm not even sure if it's worth the $169 I paid. I had 2 Fitbits and 2 Samsungs and now 1 Garmin. I'm considering going back to Samsung. At least they didn't try to tell me that my Gearfit's battery life is a week. They overestimated the battery life, but it wasn't much. I will definitely NOT be buying a Garmin smartwatch in the future, even if I decide to keep this one. When I track my steps, I think the pulse oximeter is low compared to my real pulse oximeter. Cons - the strap is uncomfortable, battery life is between 48-72 hours NOT 7 days, buttons on the side are hard to press, there is no dial showing battery remaining (probably because they don't want you to see how quickly the battery dies), the sensors on the back light up at night and are really nasty and annoying, all the stats are on a screen that flashes very quickly, which is what everyone is representing, and then just displays the numbers. To really see anything, you'll have to look inside the app or try to memorize what each of the icons represents - some are easier than others.
