My expectations were both high and low. I wasn't sure what to expect in terms of quality and wasn't sure if my new kitty could handle it. But if you look closely you'll see that he's here for his afternoon nap, which happened without my persuasion about 30 minutes after everything was assembled. So far, so good! It seems durable, but I also only have one kitten so I'm not thinking about the weight of a big cat at the moment. Instructions come in a small printed booklet with pictures only (no words). But honestly, it's not that hard to understand. It seems to be one of the less disgusting looking scratching posts! I hope it survives and gets a lot of use!
