Review on 🔆 LEDMO Black Modern LED Wall Sconces: Aluminum 3000K Adjustable Up and Down Wall Lamp - Illuminating Style for Every Space by Melissa Moore

These wall lights perform their intended wallwashing function very well and are solidly built apart from a thin, difficult to hold weatherseal. But one of the four I bought and installed didn't flicker well and had to be replaced (response came in about a week). Also note that this setup has no wall plate and the unit itself is so small that it may not cover the rough opening for the junction box. I solved this problem by purchasing a two piece junction box cover plug and drilling where necessary by placing it between the back of the lamp assembly and the junction box/wall. ALSO, I'm not sure how they attach the lights to the junction boxes in China (glue maybe?), but these blocks only have small screw holes in the mounting plate which, as mentioned, isn't big enough to cover the junction box - - what would you screw this thing in the junction box into? I used a drill press to make a hole in the center of the mounting plate so it could slide over the standard mounting nut used in most back boxes and drilled a second hole for the wiring. You will need a drill press and a carbide hole saw. Despite all that, for $20 a piece I'm happy with how these things look and work (unobtrusive and very attractive light pattern) but you'd better be patient and be able to work with them. (And pray you avoid the quality control issues I've encountered.)
