It has traveled the world with me

Have been using this band for many years. It was priceless. Unfortunately, not only is it hard to find at a reasonable price, it's hard to find at any price point! So when I saw a pack of 4 large buns at the Revain store for $13.99 I jumped at it. Sometimes it was even lower, but that's a good deal - fourteen dollars. Is it expensive compared to other shipping tapes? Of course, but for our family it's priceless. Because it doesn't require a blade to cut, we took it everywhere and it comes in very handy at times. In Mexico, for example, we used it to attach plastic bags to boogie boards to prevent damage when they were checked in as flight luggage. Holding tight to the shiny surface of the bags, he exited the plane unharmed. I know one reviewer said it wouldn't stick to bubble wrap envelopes (with a shiny plastic finish I think) but it works great for us on all sorts of surfaces. We've also used it to seal large, heavy Christmas boxes. Gifts you need to pre-send us before we arrive. We've been doing this for several years and the tape has never failed. Not only do I keep it at home, but I always keep it in my car and suitcase. Sure, it's not going to replace heavy-duty tape like duct tape, but for packaging tape it's proven to be versatile and useful.
