Review on Feiyu Tech G4-QD: Quick Dismantling 3-Axis Gimbal for GoPro Hero3, 3+, 4, and other similar action cameras by Lori Sanders

With all the stabilizers out there, it's difficult to choose one and be sure it will work well. I took the G4QD between LanParte HHG after much deliberation. I wanted something that I could use both my GoPro and cell phone with, but ultimately settled on something dedicated to the G4. This review may be long, but in short, Feiyu has some work to do. Calibration is a pain in the first place, and the lack of the ability to tweak settings on the fly is truly cumbersome. Having to put it on a flat surface before turning it on every time is a serious disadvantage. In any case. It works well when it actually works, and any number of Feiyu wireless remotes are a must if you plan on doing some extended bar manipulation. I took the SBONY carbon stem and when using it you no longer have access to the power button so you have to turn on the device first and then unscrew the extension stem. The wireless remote control makes operation even more convenient. 2.5 stars. Well made unit but could use some work.
