Review on 🔌 Clear PopSockets PopGrip Slide for iPhone SE, 7, and 8 with Apple Silicone Case by Sam Lund

My phone won't fit in a car mount with the adhesive connector glued on, but I like my phone to have a connector - so this product was perfect for solving that. I got it in October and it's now June... Unfortunately after 8 months the plastic part that attaches to the phone is much weaker and has what I would call stress marks on the plastic in the bent part where it is bends. I don't take the slider off every day, often my phone just sits on my desk or in my pocket... so I have to say this product lacks durability, especially at $14. It used to snap into place just fine, but now if the popsocket is pulled too hard, or pulled gently at the right angle, or if it gets stuck in my pocket when I pull it out to answer a call, it's possible for the whole sliding thing to snap will come off. Since then I've been able to find a car phone mount that is deep enough to mount the phone with an adhesive pop socket, so I'll probably come back to that. I'll probably miss the opportunity to change the position of the popsocket or remove it altogether. Well, first world problems...
