Rigid and uncomfortable

Came without instructions. But I figured out how to soak it in boiling water and put it in my mouth. It didn't help much. It's made out of a hard, thick, big piece of plastic. I had a sore in my mouth where clenching my teeth affected the gum area and made them sensitive. It was so uncomfortable that it made the area worse. I was trying to save a few bucks on this item but I just needed to know a review, probably from the seller. Buyer Warning.
