Ordered these bulbs to add a strobe function to my bike's tail/brake light for extra safety! These bulbs could easily be replaced with standard incandescent bulbs. Significantly brighter than the original. They are a worthy replacement for standard bulbs as the array of LEDs along the sides makes good use of the reflector cup design typical of incandescent bulbs. Very happy with the purchase overall. Will report on durability after this riding season. :)
