I was looking for light shoes, not socks. They had non-slip rubber nubs on the sole. I bought these for the indoor water park to protect my feet from surgery. My husband ended up wearing them. They stayed and enjoyed themselves. In the water park they didn't even last a day and a half. I wouldn't buy them again. They were cheap so can't say I'm very disappointed. You have done your job. I would recommend the soft rubber sole if you need a water shoe rather than a sock.
