I bought this to wear with my simple lace beach dress as I couldn't get my dress ready in time. This belt is beautiful, just like the picture! With a lace dress, however, I would look elsewhere. This belt doesn't stick to the tip that well. The area slightly above and below where it was now looks tattered. It would probably be great for other stuff.
