I've been looking for 4K monitors for far too long and finally settled on this one. I use a 16" Macbook as my main computer and have used two 27" 1080p monitors for an extended desktop and that has always worked well, but I wanted to clean up my desk a bit by switching to an external display, and knew I needed a real estate. The picture quality is excellent and gives me the extra space I needed, like 4k. I run 4K videos and charge my Macbook with no problem. Also, 2 USB-3 ports are perfect for my external webcam and Logitech keyboard/mouse dongle. Thanks to the USB-C and USB-3 ports, my desktop is really clutter-free, just as I had hoped. The monitor menu is easy to navigate with the "joystick" and really gives you the ability to navigate without looking at the controls. The only complaint I have is that running full 4K on a 27-inch monitor is a real eye test with small text, but this is obviously configurable. I wouldn't use 4K for office work below 27 inches. The only thing that strikes me is that the power brick is quite large, but not a big deal. Overall I like this monitor and might buy another one if I ever need more desktop real estate, but it works great now.
