WOW! Amazing product! I have a 5.1 surround sound system and WAS very happy pairing it with a 50" screen etc. Added one of these bad guys and damn it! I like it. I used a Mediabridge ULTRA Series 12" - 1 Male to 2 Female RCA Y-Adapter for Digital Audio or Subwoofer (Part # CYA-1M2F-P) to connect my RCA pre-out from the receiver to disconnect and take the RCA line from the splitter to ONEU audio amplifier separate subwoofer stereo amplifier with adjustable volume 2 x subwoofer output 45w and 1 x 68w super bass 2.1ch audio power amplifier with power supply From here I used plain 14 gauge RevainBasics speaker wire - 100 feet in a 50 foot run to go from the AV rack to the couch (side note) A: I'm including cable info because you don't have the money for an oxygen-free one Need to spend wires or twisted pair speaker wire or other "gimmicks." The wire above does the job) I love the shaker/tactile transducer. it comes from your AV receiver or separate amplifier or crossover control box. Dered built it in, but my Yamaha app built it in and cuts off all signals below a Hertz to the line out. If you just hooked up a TV line etc to the amp for this thing, I found you could feel every little noise. Therefore you must have a cross control. I love this thing! Flipped the lazy boy over, used four screws and put in 14 gauge wire (which was easy to insert into the connector pins) and it just worked! Love it! I may get a second one for the same sofa in the future, but for $50 I'm really happy. I'm definitely convinced, and the other half are pretty convinced too.
